They look a little oversized but this will help the velcro stay fixed as clothing is added. The bins really do snap into place and are spaced evenly. I did attach the back brace because it further stabilizes panel 'J'.įor those who struggle to insert the tilt-out bins, make sure that you are pushing in the hinges, part 'R'. The hampers were already stable and solid before I got to this point. These panels may add to the finished look but probably do not add much more support. Both packages arrived missing parts 'E' which are the rear panels. The instructions are not great and the images can be difficult to read, however, it was easy to figure things out.ģ. Tightening the cams locks was much easier this way.Ģ. This allowed me to assemble with one person. Then I inserted 'C' (with the wooden dowels in) into panels 'B' and 'B1'. From STEP 3, I inserted the 6 CAM bolts onto 'D' and then placed panels 'B', 'J', and 'B1' onto the bolts in 'D'. As to how long it took me to assemble, I'd say it took me 40 minutes on the first unit and maybe 30 minutes on the second.ġ. The instructions do state that it is a two-person job. Each unit is quite weighty and stable when assembled and they look wonderful in our design! Assembling the units was easy for one, however, I did complete a couple of steps out of sequence to make things easier. I would not use these hampers if they did not look nice or if I thought the quality would not hold up over time. I purchased two of the 26" wide double tilt-out hampers to use in a customized walk-in closet in a newly constructed house.
